Steel City Medical has cared for Hamilton families since 1987. Today we're one group practice with two clinics in the same building — Suite 204 on the second floor and Suite 501 on the fifth floor — working as a single team to serve you better.

Welcome, Solos patients
Solos Medical is now Steel City Medical
In 2026, Solos Medical joined the Steel City Medical family. If you're a Solos patient, nothing about your care changes: same caring team, same second-floor clinic in Suite 204, same phone number (905-662-8274). You'll simply see the Steel City name on our door, our letters, and this website.
Dr. DiValentino, Dr. Jarecki, and the whole second-floor team are right where you left them — now backed by a larger group practice under one roof.

Academic care
A McMaster academic community teaching practice
Steel City Medical is affiliated with McMaster University as an academic community teaching centre. Training the next generation of family doctors and physician assistants keeps our own standards sharp: teaching practices are continually reviewed, questioned, and held to account.
Medical learners may take part in your care — always under the direct supervision of our physicians, and always with your consent. You can decline a learner's involvement at any time; it will never affect your care.

We use modern tools — including AI note-taking during visits — so your provider can focus on you, not a keyboard. Your privacy always comes first, and you can always say no.
